"Blame It On The Hormones" is a book by author Astha Gill that challenges the common narrative of attributing women's emotions solely to hormonal fluctuations, instead exploring deeper psychological and social layers of female experience, encouraging empathy and self-understanding beyond biological explanations. Launched in late 2025, the book argues that while hormones play a role, convenient excuses prevent genuine examination of behavior, communication, and responsibility, aiming to foster deeper understanding and connection.

I love the way Astha puts forward opinions and facts of life through her books. STM was the first time I realised that a book on education and emotions could actually be exciting and not boring. I am someone who doesn’t normally enjoy reading, but that book hooked me.
And now Blame It on the Hormones has done exactly the same thing. It pulled me in from the very first page. What I love most is that you can open this book from anywhere and start reading. Every page carries a new thought.
The book is an eye-opener. If I have to mention certain sections that specifically impressed me, I would mention — The journal entries, the flip stories and of course the way each part of the book has been creatively put forward.
The style and design is very decent.
All in all, it is must read.
Thanks Astha, for sharing such a lovely piece of work. I am in love with the concept, the style and of course, the message shared in the book. Very interesting novel. I hope it reaches the masses and creates the required stir. Best wishes.
